Optimizing Camera Placement for Chicken Farm Monitoring
Our paper titled “Optimizing Camera Placement for Chicken Farm Monitoring” was accepted as an oral presentation at EvoStar 2025, the leading European Event on Bio-Inspired AI, on 25 April 2025.
Camera Placement Optimizer is a tool that automatically determines the best positions and angles for surveillance cameras in a poultry barn, ensuring maximum visibility with minimal blind spots. By modeling the barn layout and applying advanced algorithms, it generates optimized camera configurations that outperform manual placement. This enables efficient installation, improved monitoring of farm operations, and better support for animal welfare without unnecessary hardware or guesswork.
