Another great milestone was reached in CHARISMA! The first live integration of the three components of the project — i.e. boats, Digital Twin (DT), and the Distributed Shared Memory (DSM) service — was tested in the test premises of CMMI in the Marina of Larnaka. We have successfully sent the first commands through the DSM and autonomously drove the boat to various waypoints defined in the DT. Of course no integration works from the first time so the team identified important issues to work on until the next field integration experiment. Until then i want to thank all of the researchers for their efforts to make this milestone possible. Keep it up guys until the next field integration test!
